Who we are and what we do.

We are a privately owned family company, originally setup by Steve Bennett & his partner Tory. We have specialised in quality kit-car vehicle builds and refurbishments since 1990. Operating from our workshop in Barrow upon Soar in Leicestershire we have built many kits to order, including the original Rotrax, the Banham X99 and the Dakar 4x4. In February 2004 we took over responsibility for the production and supply of the Dakar 4x4 kit, from Dakar Cars Limited in Dartford, and now trade as Dakar Cars Design and Conversions. Tragically in February 2008 Steve passed away, his passion and dreams for the Dakar & Hibak however will live on, under the expert supervision of Tory.

From our fully equipped facilities which feature a full size Spray booth, vehicle jig and workshop, we continue to design, develop and produce the Dakar 4x4 kit components and accessories.
